Here’s another super-simple way to begin an appreciation and gratitude exercise daily – just start thinking and speaking your appreciation for everything you see all day. Start with the things in your immediate vicinity when you wake up in the morning.
“I appreciate this bed. I appreciate these slippers. I appreciate having a cozy home to live in.” As you continue with your day, deliberately focus on your appreciation for everything and everyone you encounter.
