Love this quote! The problem is, sometimes a grateful mindset isn’t quite so automatic. In fact, many of us have gotten into the habit of holding a cynical, doubtful, pessimistic mindset more often than a grateful or appreciative one.
No matter what happens in your life, you have the power to choose your mindset – did you know that? Today I was reminded yet again that when something seemingly “bad” happens, our perception of it doesn’t necessarily have to BE bad.
We can choose to see it as a blessing in disguise, and the true gift hasn’t yet appeared. We can choose to see it as a powerful learning experience and be grateful for the lesson. We can choose to see it as a giant cosmic joke and enjoy a good laugh about it.
